The boring fine print

Order policies

Short version: we build what you approve, we stop questionable measurements before production, and we deal with genuine manufacturing errors properly.

Made-to-order product

Every drawer is manufactured to the dimensions and options approved in the order. Because it is made specifically for that order, it is not treated like an off-the-shelf return.

Measurements

Customers are responsible for the dimensions they submit and confirm at checkout. When Boring Check flags a measurement, hardware identification or fit concern, production can be held until the issue is reviewed.

Remakes and errors

If we manufacture something differently from the approved order specification, we will review it and correct our manufacturing error. Customer measurement errors, cabinet changes and incorrectly identified existing hardware may require a separately priced remake.

Shipping

Drawer pricing does not include shipping. Shipping is quoted separately after the drawer order is submitted and before the packed order is released for shipment. The customer can review the shipping charge before approving it.

Home parcels

Home delivery is limited to two drawer boxes per order, in at most two cartons. Each completed carton must weigh no more than 15 kg / 33 lb including all packaging and fit within 24 × 24 × 16 inches. These are company planning limits; carrier acceptance and the completed packing must be verified. Customers should arrange help when needed.

Pallet delivery

Pallets are not delivered to residential addresses. Choose pickup at a confirmed carrier freight terminal or delivery to an equipped non-residential address. Commercial unloading requires a suitable forklift or a truck-height dock with a pallet jack. A pallet jack alone at ground level is insufficient.

Terminal pickup

The shipping quote must identify the actual freight terminal, pickup hours, loading assistance, required paperwork and storage terms. Parcel counters and retail pickup locations are not automatically freight terminals. Customers provide suitable transport, arrange unloading at their destination and collect within the carrier’s agreed window. Terminal pickup is quoted manually until carrier and booking arrangements are confirmed.

Transit damage

Visible package damage should be photographed before opening when practical. Damage to the packaging and drawer should be photographed promptly so the carrier claim and replacement options can be reviewed.

Hardware

Boring Drawers manufactures drawer boxes. Drawer slides and runner hardware are not supplied unless an order specifically says otherwise. Hardware references are used to determine compatibility and machining requirements.

Production timing

Production timing begins after payment and any required Boring Check or specification review is cleared. Lead times can vary with order volume, material availability and finishing requirements.

These policies are intended to describe the ordering and production process in plain language. Any order-specific written agreement takes precedence where it expressly differs.
